Anambra State Speaker Assures Flood-Affected Communities Of Government Support

The Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Mr Somtochukwu Udeze, visited flood-affected areas in Ogbaru to assess the situation and provide support to displaced residents.

 

Accompanied by local officials, Udeze promised essential items like food, medication, and mattresses for those in Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps.

 

During his visit, Udeze inspected key infrastructure projects and addressed the suffering of residents along damaged roads.

 

He assured residents that the government is closely monitoring progress on road construction projects to improve accessibility in the area.

 

 

Additionally, Udeze met with security personnel in Ogbaru to acknowledge their role in maintaining peace and stability. He urged them to remain committed to their duties.
