Another batch of Kwara State Pilgrims arrive in Ilorin International Airport

The third batch of Kwara State Pilgrims who performed this year’s pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia has arrived.
They landed safely at the Ilorin International Airport at 9:22 a.m. on Thursday.
The Air Peace Aircraft which conveyed the pilgrims had on Board a total number of 282.
The total number of pilgrims that have arrived so far from Kwara State, North Central Nigeria that performed this year’s pilgrimage to the Holy land through the State Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board is now 823 as against 3, 740 that performed the exercise leaving a total of 2, 917 that are still being expected.
Meanwhile, another batch of pilgrims from the state is due to arrive soon.
In an interview with VON, the Executive Secretary of the board, Alhaji Abdulsalam Abdulkadir confirmed that the 4th batch left Jedda earlier on Thursday while the 5th batch is already in Jedda and hopefully, they will leave at midnight, he added.
