In a New Year Message titled “Hope Rising in Anambra State,” the leading aspirant for the 2025 gubernatorial election in Anambra State, Sir Paul Chukwuma, proclaimed that the upcoming year would mark a new beginning for the state.

He expressed confidence that Anambra would reclaim its former glory as one of Nigeria’s most peaceful, prosperous, and prestigious states.

According to him, “2025 is the year of new beginning for Anambra State. It is the year our dear state will rise again to reposses the fulness of its glory and respect among Nigerian states. Anambra shall shrug away its present nightmare of clueless leadership and cast aside the dark clouds of insecurity. Yes, Anambra shall rise again this year,” he declared.

Speaking further, Sir Chukwuma said it was regrettable that the state had fallen into wrong hands in the past three years and had consequently been pegged back in critical development indices.

“I’m appalled at how low we have sunk under the leadership of the current administration. The level of insensitivity and ice-cold meanness of the current APGA administration is legendary. Never have Ndi Anambra seen this type of inflexible and pitiless spirit in previous governments; the type that is totally unmoved by the tears of the people they exist to serve” Sir Paul declared.

Driving the theme of hope and new beginning further, Sir Chukwuma declared that 2025 offered Ndi Anambra the chance to change their unacceptable narrative by choosing a new administration that will wipe away the tears of anguish caused by the APGA administration.

This is an election year in Anambra State. We are at the threshold of change. I trust Ndi Anambra to make an objective decision about their own happiness, their own greatness and their own lives. This is Anambra’s year of glory and it shall be well with Anambra State,” he said.

Sir Chukwuma also observed that Anambra deserved better, arguing that no state with Anambra’s enormous human and material resources should undergo the vicious cycle of violence and regression as Anambra had experienced in the hands of the current APGA government.

Sir Chukwuma expressed optimism for the future of Anambra, stating that 2025 would be a year of glory for the state. He encouraged the residents to come together to shape a new narrative for Anambra and overcome the challenges they currently face.
