APC Gubernatorial Candidate Pledges To Revamp Niger State If Elected

The Niger State All Progressives Congress, APC Governorship candidate, Umar Bago has promised to embark on an urban renewal scheme If elected.

Bago disclosed this while interacting with Journalists in Minna, the Niger State Capital in North Central Nigeria.

He said that If elected he would establish industrial pack in Suleja and Tafa local government areas.

“The park will check over 1 million vehicular movements in and out of Niger state, increase employment opportunities and boost the Internally Generated Revenue, IGR in the state,” the APC Candidate said.

Bago said that his government if elected would embark on ICT development targeting the youth and women.

He said; “I will convert Shiroro hotel Minna to Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University Lapai to the IBBUL University Teaching Hospital and College of Education Minna to the University of Education respectively.”

Bago who further said his administration would increase the welfare packaged of teachers in the rural areas, equally stressed that he would improve agriculture development across the State.

The Chairman Niger State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists, Abu Nmadu said “the media is willing and ready to support any candidate that plans to impact positively the lives of the citizens in the state.”
