The All Progressives Congress, APC in Southeast Nigeria has organised its Zonal Meeting in Ebonyi State.
The meeting was to weigh the Success recorded in the party and as well to know the Challenges.
The APC National Chairman, Abdulahi Umar Ganduje said this during the meeting held at Christian Ecumenical Center in Abakaliki, the State Capital.
Ganduje urged Igbo people to unite and determine to break the so called marginalization of Igbos by bringing Southeast to political limelight of the Country.
The Deputy National Chairman, Emma Eneukwu urged all the Southern Stakeholders of the party to work hard in acheiving the aims of Nigeria President, Ahmed Tinubu of making Nigeria successful country through APC led Government.
The Leader of APC in the entire Southeast Nigeria, Mr Hope Uzodimma, who is also the Governor of Imo State thanked God for the success the party has recorded in the region.
He thanked the Nigeria President, Ahmed Tinubu for Performing More than Expected for Nigerians both at home and diaspora.
However, he acknowledged the fact that the country was facing hardship but urged all Nigerians to keep hope alive.
“Am not happy that the cost of living is high but there are Policies on ground to cushion the effects of the hardship,” Uzodimma said.
The Host Governor from Ebonyi State, Mr Francis Nwifuru said everyone was welcomed to the party.
Governor Nwifuru urged all the members of APC and as well as the Supporters to always go into dialogue in time of Misunderstanding instead of using violence.
The National Vice Chairman of the party for Southeast Nigeria, Dr Ijeoma Arodiogbu encouraged all the members and supporters of the party to be resilient and shouldn’t allow any body to intimidate them at all times.
He urged the party to canvas for vote as the party would be holding Local Government Area election in Ebonyi State.
The State Chairman of the party in Abia State, Dr Kingsley Ononogbu said everyone in Abia was now envious about the party because of the acheivement the party has recorded in the State.
The APC state Chairman in Imo State, Macdonald Ebere said the Governor of the State, Mr Hope Uzodimma has done proud to APC with his Numerous Infrastructural and human capital development in the State.
Other Chairmen were state Chairman of Ebonyi, Mr Stanley Okoroemegha, his Enugu State Counterpart, Ugochukwu Agballah and that of Anambra State, Mr Basil Ejidike among others.
