The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State has officially inaugurated the Anambra Central Senatorial District Local Government Coordinators for Sir Paul Chukwuma’s primary election campaign on Friday at Uzu Okagbue’s residence in Umunnachi, Dunukofia Local Government Area.

Uzu Okagbue, a prominent member of the APC and former Chief Protocol to ex-Governor Willie Obiano, endorsed Chukwuma as the party’s strongest candidate for the upcoming Anambra governorship election, scheduled for November 8, 2025.

He expressed confidence in Chukwuma’s leadership capabilities, highlighting the pressure on the incumbent governor, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA).

Okagbue described Chukwuma as a candidate who embodies the necessary political, religious, social, and economic attributes to effectively challenge the current administration.

He emphasised Chukwuma’s extensive experience within the APC, noting his previous roles as National Auditor and National Youth Leader, as well as his commitment to institutionalising the party in Anambra State.

Chukwuma’s support for the Christian community and his continuous engagement with party stakeholders signal his readiness for the election.”

His vision focuses on human capital development, infrastructural advancement, and enhanced security measures for Anambra State,” Okagbue stated.

Additionally, Okagbue praised Chukwuma’s efforts in fostering unity within the party, asserting that this cohesion is crucial for securing victory in the upcoming elections. “If we are to win, we must stand together in unity. A house divided against itself cannot stand,” he declared.

The newly inaugurated coordinators, representing the seven local council areas within the senatorial district, Anaocha, Awka South, Awka North, Dunukofia, Njikoka, Idemili North, and Idemili South, unanimously pledged to mobilize grassroots support for Sir Paul Chukwuma ahead of both the primary election on April 5, 2025, and the general election.
