APC National Chairman Leads Delegation to Former President Buhari in Daura

The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, accompanied by members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC), has paid a courtesy visit to the immediate-past President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, in his hometown of Daura, Katsina State.
Ganduje in a statement by his Press Secretary, Edwin Olufu, mentioned that the visit was to formally introduce the new APC leadership to the former president and celebrate Nigeria’s 63rd Independence Day anniversary.
He emphasized their intention to express solidarity and gratitude for Buhari’s contributions to the nation during his eight-year tenure.

Dr. Ganduje highlighted the significance of Buhari’s presidency during an important period of Nigeria’s development while affirming the delegation’s respect and appreciation for his service.
“The visit was also an opportunity to extend congratulations on the Independence Day celebration, recognizing the advancements achieved in the 63 years since Nigeria gained independence,” said the APC national chairman.
He further expressed contentment with the recent successes of the party in the tribunal judgement, acknowledging the victories but emphasized the party’s focus on the upcoming off-season elections in Kogi, Bayelsa, and Imo States.
The national chairman and the accompanying NWC members have since returned to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
