APC National Secretariat Takes Action to Resolve Crisis in Ondo State Chapter

The National Secretariat of the party has stepped to facilitate understanding and achieve an amicable resolution of the ongoing crisis in the Ondo State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to a statement released by Edwin Olo Kon, the Chief Press Secretary to the National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the party expressed deep concern regarding the political turmoil in Ondo State.
“The escalating situation, if not promptly addressed, may further strain relations among party members”.
To forestall further discord, the National Secretariat has taken decisive action. Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the National Chairman, has established a 9-Man Committee, headed by the former Governor of Katsina State, Rt Hon Aminu Bello Masari.
Intervention
The committee’s mandate includes intervention and spearheading peaceful reconciliation efforts among the involved parties.
The party assured the public that through this committee, they will engage in constructive dialogues with all stakeholders in the state, fostering mutual respect to find a lasting solution.
The National Secretariat also urged all parties to remain calm and extend full cooperation and support to the Masari-led Committee in their reconciliation efforts.
