As the primary elections of the All Progressives Congress draws near, over ten thousand youths and women in Nasarawa State have marched in support of Governor Yahaya Bello”s presidential ambition in 2023.
The groups supporting the Kogi State Governor, said the rally was a way to express their confidence in Bello’s leadership qualities, and to appeal to APC delegates to vote for him in the forthcoming presidential primary election.
Nasarawa State Chairman of Yahaya Bello Network, Ibrahim Lawal Ibrahim stated this while speaking with journalists in Lafia the state capital.
“We are all on the same mission, and our mission is to see that Yahaya Bello becomes our president comes 2023 Inshaa Allah”,
“Yahaya Bello has done a lot in terms of insecurity, there is no single case of insecurity in Kogi, as such making him the president would be a good thing in terms of insecurity in Nigeria”,
“So, we are appealing to the delegates to vote for him in the forthcoming APC primary election.
Also speaking, the Coordinator, Recuse Nigeria Mission, Tahir Nagogo said that the youth in Nasarawa State have every capacity to vote Yahaya Bello for president come 2023.
“We are here to make a difference and to make a change, we are not voting anybody except Yahaya Bello because he is trusted to make a change in 2023.
The Yahaya Bello Network, Chairman in the Nasarawa State urged other youth who are yet to join the campaign to come forth inorder to put a vibrant youth as the next president come 2023.
