APC Primary Elections: Senator Goje wins Gombe State Central Senatorial Race

Senator Muhammad Danjuma Goje has emerged the winner of the Gombe Central Senatorial Primary election of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
There were 105 delegates from the 22 wards of Gombe Central Senatorial District, were cast during the primary election which was held at the University of Science and Technology, Kumo, Gombe State.
Goje contested against the duo of Idris Abdullahi and Abubakar Mu’azu where he was declared the winner with 100 out of the 105 votes cast. Mu’azu got 3 votes while Idris got 2 votes.
The returning officer of the Primary election, Dr. Danjuma Dabo declared Senator Danjuma Goje as duly elected and winner of the primary election, having scored the highest votes return elected.
Goje is the incumbent Senator representing Gombe Central in the Senate since 2011. In his acceptance speech, Senator Goje thanked all Gombe Central Senatorial District, delegates who voted him for the fourth time to represent them in the Senate.
