The All Progressives Congress, APC has welcomed Nigerians into the New Year, saying it is optimistic that it will be a better year for all.
This was contained in a statement released by National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Felix Morka.
According to the Party, “The year is seen as a beacon of hope for a more prosperous future for the nation”.
Expressing gratitude, the APC acknowledges the unwavering support, resilience, and commitment of fellow citizens in building a stronger and safer country throughout the preceding year, 2023.
The party applauds the patriotic sacrifices made for the peace, unity, economic stabilization, and progress of Nigeria.
The administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, under the banner of the APC, remains steadfast in fulfilling its electoral promises.
The party according to the statement is dedicated to creating and expanding access to economic opportunities, enhancing service delivery, ensuring security, and fostering balanced and sustainable development.
The APC further extends its appreciation to Nigerians for their massive support during the general and off-season elections of 2023, recognizing it as a challenge to redouble efforts at both the party and administration levels. President Tinubu and elected officials pledge to prioritize the well-being of the people over political considerations.
Special acknowledgment is given to President Tinubu for his forthright and inspiring leadership.
The party also expresses gratitude to the National Assembly leadership, the APC Legislative Caucus, the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF), the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Party, strategic and development partners, and the press for their support in the outgoing year.
The Party on behalf of the National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, CON, and members of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC, wishes all Nigerians a happy and prosperous New Year.
