Nigeria’s governing party, the All Progressives Congress, APC will formally unveil its Vice Presidential Candidate, Senator Kashim Shettima, on Wednesday, 20 July 2022.
In a press statement by the party’s National organising secretary, Sulaiman Argungu, the unveiling will hold at Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja by 11:00 am.
It will be recalled that the APC had planned to unveil its Vice Presidential candidate on the 14th of July but cancelled the event without a statement on the reason for cancellation.
Expected to attend the event are Presidential Aspirants at the June 2022 Special National Convention, All Members of the National Executive Committee (NEC), Members of the Progressives Governors’ Forum, Members of the APC Caucus in the National Assembly, Members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC), Members of the Diplomatic Corps, APC State Chairmen, APC State Secretaries and APC State Organising Secretaries.
