APGA disowns members in Benue State
The Benue State Chapter of the All Progressives Grand Alliance has disowned some of its members over alleged anti-party activities.
The State’s Chairman, Paul Salem stated the Party’s position while addressing Journalists at the party secretariat in Makurdi, the state capital.
Some members of the party had organised a Congress at Aliade, Headquarters of Gwer East Local Government without the knowledge or consent of the party leadership.
Salem said that ”the organisers of the congress in question were impersonators.”
He said; “Mike Obeya was involved in anti-party activities and he was asked to meet a disciplinary committee but declined.
“And the state working committee arising from its emergency meeting in Makurdi, resolved and granted an expulsion from the party on the leader of the purported group’s leader, Mr Mike Obeya on 18 August, 2021.”
