The national chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Mr Sly Ezeokenwa, and the Anambra State party chairman, Chief Ifeatu Obiokoye, have congratulated the State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, on his 63rd birthday anniversary.

In a statement released by the APGA National Chairman, Sly Ezeokenwa, he lauded Soludo for being a role model to the younger generation:
“May I, on behalf of our political party, the true movement for all Progressives in Nigeria, felicitate you on this special day that heralds your 63rd birthday anniversary.
“As the National Leader of our great party, APGA, you have been steadfast in piloting the affairs of Anambra State and addressing the challenges of the humongous task of governance with dexterity.
“Mr Governor, I must confess that you’re a true blessing to our dear nation, Anambra State, APGA and mankind in general.
“You have, over the years, undoubtedly demonstrated that you are an exceptional role model for the younger generation and for that you have my admiration.
“As you mark yet another birthday, I pray God to continue to bless and sustain you as you continue the arduous task of leading our great party and indeed the good people of Anambra State.
“Our fervent supplication is that God grants you good health, wisdom and longevity.

For his part, the Anambra State chairman of APGA, Chief Ifeatu Obiokoye, described Governor Soludo as a transformational leader.
Obi-Okoye, in a congratulatory message, described Mr Governor as a versatile, dynamic and transformational leader, who continues to exhibit genuine commitment towards the development of the State, the South-east and Nigeria at large.
He said Governor Soludo’s trajectory of excellence and transparency in all public offices, he had occupied, poses a leadership model for the political class in Nigeria.“As the former Governor of CBN, Governor Soludo engendered the financial sector reforms that included a regime of consolidation of 89 banks into 25 banks, with a stronger capital base, which he has been acclaimed to have created the solid base for banking in Nigeria today.
“Moreover, as a leader of our great party, APGA, Governor Soludo remains committed towards the unity, stability, growth and electoral success of our party.
“His brand of politics is all-inclusive as is seen in the various efforts he is making to bring all Anambra people together for the growth and development of the State.
“On this special day of yours, Mr Governor, may I, on behalf of the State executives of our great party, APGA, wish you good health and more of wisdom and understanding as you pilot the affairs of Anambra State,” the statement concluded.
