APGA Sets Up Disciplinary Committee in Anambra State

The Anambra State Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA , Chief Norbert Obi, has set up a disciplinary committee to wade into the activities of erring members of the Party and take necessary actions.

Speaking to journalists in Awka the State Capital recently, Obi said the committee is also charged with the responsibility of reviewing the last National and State Assembly elections held in the State and submit her report to the State Secretariat in the form of an advice or recommendation.

According to the chairman, Norbert Obi,
the committee is to be chaired by APGA State Auditor Chief Nchekwube Anthony Dunga while Honourable Chidi Anasiudu will serve as Secretary.

Other members of the committee include; Honourable Christopher Oramulu, Hon. Vero Nweke, Hon. Chigozie Ezionye, Hon. Sylvanus Udezuka and Hon. Felix Obunadike.

Obi urged them to carry out their activities efficiently, transparently and with utmost honesty.

However, VON recalls that APGA Senatoral Candidates Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano, wife of former governor of Anambra State, Hon. Chris Azubogu and Hon. Dozie Nwankwo, all lost at the February 25, 2023 election, and had sixteen lawmakers elected at the just concluded Anambra state assembly election where the Speaker Hon. Uche Okafor, Deputy Majority Leader Hon. Emeka Aforka and others lost their return tickets to other political parties.
