Appeal: Nasarawa State APC Urges PDP To Allow Court To Decide Judgement
By Amina Mohammed, Lafia
The All Progressives Congress, APC in Nasarawa state has urged the People’s Democratic Party, PDP to allow the court to decide on the issues brought before it in fairness and justice for all.
The state APC chairman, Aliyu Bello stated this during a press conference at the party headquarters in Lafia the state capital.
He said that the PDP should stop misleading the public with mischievous propaganda but wait for the court to decide on the Appeal.
“It is pertinent to note that since the split judgment of the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, several issues have emerged especially from the opposition People’s Democratic Party, PDP,” he said.
He further said that the PDP seems to be agitated and ruffled with anything that comes from Governor Abdullahi Sule’s administration no matter how good and beneficial it appears.
“They have decided and determined to misinterpret every statement that emanates from anybody that has something to do with the Government in power.
“It is imperative therefore to put things in their correct perspective to save the public from being misled to believing their lies and falsehood,” APC Chairman noted.
He therefore said that Nasarawa was a peaceful state, inhabited by peaceful and peace-loving people who are committed to pursuing peace irrespective of their lineages, language, and religion.
The APC chairman urged the PDP to tread with caution and allow peace to reign for the development of the state.
