Armed Forces Day: Defence Health Maintenance offers Free Medical Service

The Defence Health Maintenance Limited in charge of Ebonyi and Abia States Southeast Nigeria has organised free Medical Services at the Unity Square as part of event to mark 2024 Armed forces remembrance day for ex service men and others who are willing to check their health status.

The Medical Services was simultaneously going on with grand finale  of the 2024 Armed forces remembrance day which was symbolic through the laying of wreath.

The State Manager of Defence Health Maintenance Limited, Colonel Chris Ikefuna retired said the essence was to ensure that all their personnels are medically fit.

“We have examined many persons and drugs has been issued but in any case where the it cannot be handled, we refer them to where they can be handled”. Ikefuna said.

The highlight of the event was the laying of wreath by the Governor of the State, Chief Francis Nwifuru, Speaker of House of Assembly, Chief Moses Odunwa and the Chief Judge of the State, Justice Elvis Ngene.

Others were the Commissioner of Police, Ebonyi State Command, Augustina Ogbodo.
