The Armed Forces of Democratic Republic of Congo is hosting the forthcoming Great Lakes African Military Games in 2023.
The President Organisation of Military Sports in Africa, OSMA, Major General Maikano Abdullahi stated this during his working visit in Kinshasa, the capital and the largest city of the DRC.
General Abdullahi said that “the visit was to discuss on the forthcoming Military Games.”
He noted that the working visit in Kinshasa had the Minister of Defence, Dr. Gilbert Kirhenga and Chief of Defence Staff, Army General Celestine Munsense amongst others.
He said that “the Great Lakes countries are; Burudi, Democratic Republic of Congo, DRC, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.”
