Army Chief Commissions Primary School In Zaria

The Chief of Army Staff, COAS, Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya has extended Special Civil- Military Cooperation Intervention project to Sabon Gari, Zaria in Kaduna State with the commissioning of the newly renovated Dogon Bauchi Model Science Primary School.

Speaking during the project commissioning, the COAS, General Yahaya pointed out that the Nigerian Army, NA executes Quick Impact Projects in communities with a view to complement existing infrastructure.

He said it would provide the desired succor in diverse areas of needs, thereby promoting and strengthening Civil-Military Cooperation in  such beneficiary communities.

The Army Chief noted that he introduced the Special Intervention Projects to support communities of serving senior officers of the Nigerian Army, who through diligence, dedication to duty and service to the nation have risen to the enviable rank of Major General.

The COAS congratulated the project executor, Major General Umar Tama Musa, who is the Chief of Personnel Management (Army), for timely completion of the project and the quality of work done.

General Yahaya was represented by the General Officer Commanding 1 Division, Major General Olufemi Akinjobi.
