Army Chief’s death: Ghana’s President extends condolences to Nigeria
Ghana’s President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has expressed his condolences to Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari and all Nigerians over the tragic death of their Army Chief Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru and other military officers.

According to reports, they were killed in a plane crashed in the country’s north.
The incident which occurred on Friday, was said to be “due to inclement weather” as the plane was landing at the Kaduna International Airport. The armed forces said this in a statement, adding that the crash “claimed the lives of 10 other officers including the crew,” officials said.
