The Commander, Training and Doctrine Command Nigerian Army (TRADOC NA), Major General Stevenson Olabanji has presented a brand new Toyota Hilux vehicle to the TRADOC NA Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM), Army Warrant Officer (AWO) Kazir Mohammed.
At the event, General Olabanji said that the presentation of the vehicle is part of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lt Gen Faruk Yahaya’s gesture to boost the morale of AWOs and promote the policy of reward for selfless service in the Nigerian Army.
He further stated that AWOs are the custodian of regimentation, thus this will serve as examples to young soldiers and the Senior Non- Commission officers (SNCOs) to put in their best in carrying out various military duties as expected. He, therefore, charged the AWO Kazir to remain dedicated and steadfast in instilling discipline and regimentation among personnel of the Command.
In a related development, the Commander TRADOC NA performed a farewell ceremony in honour of five posted out officers from the Command. While acknowledging and commending their dedication and hard work, Gen Olabanji urged them to continue to serve as a good ambassador of the Command wherever they found themselves. The posted out officers are Brig Gen SI Said, Brig Gen OA Fadairo, Col PAJ Ebuk, Lt MN Michael and Lt A Isa.
Highpoints of the event were the presentation of Souvenirs, gift items, an inspection of the vehicle and a group photograph among others
