Army Resource Centre Participants Assess Security Efforts In Taraba

The Commander of 6 Brigade, Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Kingsley Uwa has briefed participants of the Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC) Strategic Management and Policy Studies Course 7/2025 on the Brigade’s security operations in Taraba State, Northeast Nigeria.
During their visit to the Brigade Headquarters in Jalingo on March 3, 2025, General Uwa highlighted the Brigade’s achievements in tackling insecurity, including a significant decline in kidnapping, banditry, and communal clashes.
He also showcased recovered arms and ammunition from successful operations.
The study tour, aimed “at bridging the gap between theory and real-world application,” focused on the impact of the Brigade’s security measures on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the state.
Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations, Captain Olubodunde Oni, emphasized the importance of the visit in evaluating security efforts and fostering strategic policymaking.
