Army School tasks new graduates to tackle insecurity

The Acting Commandant Nigerian Army School of Public Relations and Information (NASPRI) Lieutenant Colonel Adamu Ngulde has charged the graduated students of Fourth Quarter Courses 2023, to use skills acquired to tackle security challenges in the country

The graduation of the Fourth Quarter Courses 2023 which took place at the school auditorium in Muhammadu Buhari Cantonment, Giri Abuja saw 13 officers of Media Operations Officers Course (MOOC), 20 soldiers of  A1 Photography and 14 soldiers of A1 Video Operations courses graduated from the School.

The Acting Commandant while congratulating the students also used the medium to express his gratitude to the Chief of Army Staff, (COAS) Lieutenant General Toareed Lagbaja for his continuous support to the school.

He equally appreciated the Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla for his continuous subscription of the courses provided by NASPRI to officers and men under command.

While doing the course appraisal, the Acting Chief Instructor of the School, Captain Everest Ochienta disclosed that the Fourth Quarter Courses for 2023 were assembled on the 2nd October 2023 comprising of
Media Operations Officers Course MOOC 13 of 2023, A1 Photography 8 of 2023 and A1 Video Operations 6 of 2023 courses.

The 13 officers and 34 soldiers were drawn from different Units and formations of the Nigerian Army and the Nigerian Navy respectively.

He added that the students took part in all activities of the School ranging from class work, outdoor exercises, practicals, padre hour and robust physical training programme which includes morning physical training, evening games, 5 kilometer route walk, monthly route match, EXERCISE COMMENTARY Which was anchored by the students themselves and EXERCISE MULKIN KAI.

Captain Ochienta also stated that the students of the 3 courses recorded 100% pass rate across board.
