Arokodare Pays Homage to His Brother’s Record Label During Super Eagles Initiation

For every new Super Eagles invitee, a long-standing tradition requires them to stand on a chair, introduce themselves, and sing their favorite song during a team dinner. This ritual serves as a fun way to welcome debutants and lighten the mood in camp.

Arokodare Sings Ycee’s 2017 Hit Song

Newly invited Genk striker Tolu Arokodare followed this tradition by performing Ycee’s 2017 hit single “Juice”, which featured British-Nigerian artist and producer Maleek Berry. The song, released under Tinny Entertainment, was a massive success in Nigeria, topping charts and cementing Ycee’s status in the music industry.

A Personal Connection to the Song

Beyond its popularity, Arokodare’s choice of “Juice” holds deeper significance. The record label behind the song, Tinny Entertainment, was founded by Timilehin Arokodare, Tolu’s elder brother. This makes the Super Eagles debutant’s performance a heartfelt nod to his family’s musical ties.

Timilehin Arokodare, widely known as SmallTinny on social media, celebrated his younger brother’s national team debut, highlighting yet another milestone in their family’s journey in sports and entertainment.
