Asake Secures New Milestones with UK Certifications

Nigerian Superstar Asake has achieved two new certifications in the United Kingdom, driven by the success of his debut album.

Released in 2022, Mr. Money With The Vibe has earned a Brit Gold certification, making it Asake’s first gold album plaque in the UK.

Fueled by hit tracks like Sungba, Organise, and Jowo, the album achieved remarkable success in the United Kingdom, reaching the top of the UK Apple Music Album chart.

Asake’s smash hit Sungba has also been awarded a Brit Silver certification.

This accomplishment highlights Asake’s growing commercial success in the UK, where he has headlined several venues, including the legendary O2 Arena.

Asake’s debut album represents a pivotal moment in his career, marking his explosive entry into the mainstream in January 2022 with the chart-topping hit Omo Ope featuring Olamide.

The hit-packed album earned him the Album of the Year award at the 2023 Headies. Following the success of Mr. Money With The Vibe, Asake released the critically acclaimed Work of Art and, more recently, the hit single Lungu Boy.
