Association charges nurses on excellent services
The National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives (NANNM), in Abuja, charged its members across the country to continue to render excellent services in the nation’s health centres.
Deborah Yusuf, Chairman of NANNM, FCT Chapter, made the call at the association’s dinner/award night to mark the end of 2023 FCT Nurses Week and Annual General Meeting (AGM).

She said the award night was a testament to the hard work of members, coupled with the spirit of excellence they all possessed.
“Your accomplishment is a significant impact to the health sector and the nation at large, this also serves as an encouragement to other Nigerians.
“I urge you all to believe in your profession, I encourage you to continue with the spirit of excellence, try to make more significant impact, put more efforts to the service of humanity,” she stressed.
Among those given awards was Mr Ayuba Wabba, the immediate past President of the NLC, Mr Olusade Adesola, Permanent Secretary, FCTA.
Also, Mrs Juliana Bitrus, a former Commissioner for Health, Borno State, Mr John Adaji, Chairman, Nigeria Textile Union of Abuja and Mr Ogbonna Otti, National Vice Chairman of Joint Health Sector Union (JOHESU), were among the others.
