Aston Villa Stuns Manchester City In Premier League Thriller

Aston Villa  claimed a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Manchester City, condemned the defending champions to a sixth defeat in eight Premier League games, at Villa Park Stadium in Birmingham, England.

Striker Jhon Duran opened the scoring for Aston Villa early in the game as the home side came out firing as they pressed Manchester City.

Then midway through the second half, midfielder Morgan Rogers doubled the advantage for Aston Willa. The home side showing speed and strength to dominate the champions.

Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden pulled one goal back in stoppage time as the visitors looked for a way back into the encounter.

However, the scores remained 2-1 as the referee blew the final whistle.

The victory lifts Unai Emery’s side above Manchester City into fifth in the Premier League table, leaving Guardiola’s side stunned and down in sixth place.
