Addressing the stakeholders, speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila said all possible means must be adopted to avert the shutdown of aviation sector given its importance to the nation’s security and economy.

Mr Gbajabiamila also stated that the airline operators should be given waivers to enable them  import aviation fuel, as part of a long term solution to the challenges in the sector.

The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria Godwin Emefiele stressed the need to look into the pricing structure adopted by the marketers to ensure fairness on the operators.
