Following the announcement of Monday and Tuesday as public holidays to mark Christmas, Banks across the country have also shut down, as they urge customers to utilise other digital banking means available.

In messages to their customers, some banks announced that they will be shut on Monday and Tuesday to mark the Christmas holidays.

However, the electronic banking options available remain open for customers, including ATMs, USSD, mobile and online banking channels.

Just like every festive season, Christmas is a period where the rate of buying and selling activities rise, culminating in an end of year sales boom for businesses across the country.
