The Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to ensuring the successful hosting of the Bauchi Economic and Investment Summit, scheduled for 8–9 October.
Speaking during the State Executive Council (SEC) meeting, Governor Mohammed expressed deep concern over purported plans to sabotage the summit and issued a stern warning that the government would not tolerate any actions capable of disrupting the peaceful and smooth conduct of the high-profile forum.

Describing the #InvestInBauchiSummit as a landmark initiative designed to showcase Bauchi State’s vast investment opportunities, the governor emphasised that firm measures would be taken against any saboteurs.

He reaffirmed his administration’s determination to safeguard the integrity and objectives of the event.
Governor Mohammed urged members of the SEC and the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities that could hinder the state’s efforts to attract both local and international investors.
He reiterated his administration’s unwavering commitment to maintaining peace, ensuring order, and guaranteeing seamless coordination throughout the summit, stressing that Bauchi State would not be distracted from its vision of economic growth and transformative development.
