The event is being held under the patronage of Gov. Douye Diri.
Organisers said over N2 million in cash prizes and consolation awards would be won during the competition.

President of ABBFN, Mr Elekima Soye said that the event would serve as a qualifier for the IFBB Mr Universe Championship, scheduled for October in Lagos.
He said that “top Nigerian bodybuilders, physique athletes, bikini, and fit models would compete at the Yenagoa event.”
Elekima appealed to the public and private sectors, corporate organisations, philanthropists, and individuals to sponsor or partner with the event.
He also called on exhibitors and potential sponsors to contact the organisers promptly.
