Beijing 2022 Organiser Confirms Zero New COVID-19 Cases

The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics Organising Committee on Monday said zero new COVID-19 cases were detected among games-related personnel on February 20, according to a notice on the Beijing 2022 official website as the Games came to an end.

The Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games greatly impressed masses of officials, academics and athletes across the world, who have said the extraordinary sportsmanship and solidarity displayed during the global sports gala has conveyed a lot of hope to the international community.

Norway finished first on the medals table with a total of 37 medals (16 Gold, 8 Sliver and 13 Bronze), while Germany finished second with 27 medals (12 Gold, 10 Silver and 5 Bronze).

The People’s Republic of China came third on the medals table with 15 medals (9 Gold, 4 Silver and 2 Bronze).
