The Bishop on the Niger, the Most Right Reverend,  Owen Nwokolo has preached on the need to spread love at Christmas, as the birth of Jesus Christ was the central to God’s favour to humanity.

He said Jesus cares for all people of the world irrespective of one’s tribe, religion or ethnic affiliations.

Christmas is good news of love to mankind, especially to a world where individuals and government no longer care, the love of God in the manifestation of Jesus Christ shows unending care to humanity, “he noted.

The Bishop Owen stated that the season of Christmas compels christians to love one another by engaging in things that would transform humanity for good.

He called on christians not to be crestfallen this period about the current happenings in society, saying that the birth of Jesus Christ would solve all problems and bad situations for mankind.

He however, implored christians to submit themselves in humility and sacrifice to Jesus so as to partake in the message of hope brought by Christ.

Further in his season’s message, he prophesied that 2023 would be the year that things would turn around in Nigeria for good.

“We expect a lot in 2023, we expect changes in almost every aspect of the affairs of our country; in our economy, education and moreover, it’s an election year so the year is already full.

But the owner of the year has assured us that he will accompany us through out. This year will be in the company of Lord Jesus Christ as the Chief Pilot,” he reiterated.

He noted that the new administration was barely a year as he encouraged the people of Anambra to give the new governor more time on security.

From what we are seeing, it seems he is on the right path. It’s not easy to govern Anambra state but as the professional that Soludo is, he knows and loves good things,” he stated.

He gave assurance that with time, every issue concerning insecurity would be put to rest.
