Borno government supports new El-kanemi warriors technical committee
El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri have received support from the Borno state government ahead of the 2022 Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL).
Consequently, the state government has approved the appointment of former chairman of Elkanemi warriors Fc and former secretary of El-Kanemi warriors FC Modu Adamu Bata and Mohammed Ali respectively.
The two technocrats received their appointment letters at the club secretariat Thursday.
Speaking before presenting the letters, Warriors Fc Chairman, Alhaji Sheriff Bukar charged them to do the needful in improving the activities of the department ranging from players selection to dropping them.
He said they will always be with the teams training to assess them and make sound decisions.
Responding, Mohammed Ali Expressed surprise over the appointment and promised to justify the confidence reposed in them.
In his brief remark the committee chairman, Ibrahim Zanna expressed happiness over the appointment of people who know the game of football.
He prayed for unity and a good working relationship between them and the technical department in general.
