Brazil Soccer Legend Pele under Supportive Care Amid Cancer Battle
Brazilian soccer legend Pele is receiving supportive care after the chemotherapy stopped having expected results as he battles colon cancer, as reported on Saturday by the newspaper Folha de S.Paulo.
Pele, 82, who is globally considered one of the greatest footballers of all time, was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday to re-evaluate his cancer treatment.
He was later diagnosed with a respiratory infection, according to medical reports.
