BREAKING: Former Deputy Senate President withdraws from PDP gubernatorial primaries

The former deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu has said he will not be participating in the Enugu state People’s Democratic party primaries scheduled for Wednesday, May 25, 2022.

In a statement issued and signed by Charles Asogwa, the Director General of Ikeoha campaign organization, informed his teeming supporters that the foremost governorship aspirant in Enugu State, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, will not be participating in the PDP governorship primary election.

According to Asogwa, “we continue to trust God as we appreciate our teeming supporters and the good people of Enugu State for the enormous goodwill they have ceaselessly invested in the actualisation of the “Pathway to a New Enugu State.”

The statement urge the supporters to remain peaceful and be rest assured that they will keep them abreast of their decision on the way forward.
