President Buhari’s government providing sustainable peace, infrastructure development – Amb. Yabo

The Nigerian Ambassador to Jordan, Mr Faruk Yabo, says the approaches employed by President Muhammadu Buhari’s government are yielding more development in the country.

Ambassador Yabo stated this shortly after the registration and revalidation of his All Progressive Congress, APC membership at JNI Polling Unit, Yabo “A” Ward in Yabo local government, Sokoto.

According to him, the security challenges have drastically reduced through the strategies adopted by President Buhari.

“I believe with the approaches that have been taken in the last two months, we are beginning to see sanity.

 “The call by the Senate to replace the Service Chiefs which was answered by the President has sent some motivation in the services and I think that will assist to bring sustainable peace and security in the country, but we have to understand insecurity evolve with whatever is trending,” Yabo said.

The Ambassador also added that the Social Intervention Programme and COVID-19 Intervention has positively impacted the lives of millions of vulnerable across the country.

“When you look at the aspect of touching the lives of common lives there are many Programmes which millions of people benefitted from, especially social investment program and COVID- 19 intervention,” he added.

He explained that under President Buhari administration Nigerians have witnessed more infrastructure development which cuts across all the country.

“We are beginning to see more roads infrastructure under this administration, but in the previous arrangements you will not even see anything being constructed,

 “If you ply Abuja-Kano road you will see the quality of work being done there, Lagos- Ibadan rail has commenced, Lokojo-Warri rail has also started.

 “I believe these two years that remain in this administration is very critical and is fundamental to the survival of this country,” Ambassador Yabo said.

Yabo urged all members of APC to register en mass and assist the Party to determine the number of members in the Party.

“I’m urging our party members that have not registered to use this extension opportunity to do so. Once we get 20,000,000 Nigerians pick the membership so the party is good to go and will continue to be ahead of other parties even beyond 2023.” Ambassador Yabo added.
