Burkina Faso’s President to receive award at PALESH 2025
Burkina Faso’s President, Ibrahim Traore, is set to receive a prestigious award at the 14th edition of the PAN AFRICAN LEADERSHIP SYMPOSIUM AWARDS (PALESH NIGERIA 2025). This recognition is a testament to his exceptional leadership and outstanding performance in nation-building and transformational development of Burkina Faso.
The award, approved by the Supreme Council of UNIPGC Africa, chaired by former Liberian Vice President, Dr. Jewel Howard Taylor, and UNIPGC Global President, Amb Dr. Jonathan Ojadah, acknowledges Traore’s commitment to peace, justice, and strong institutions as a Grand Commander of Peace (GCOP).
Since taking office, President Traore has implemented ambitious programs to improve healthcare, boost agricultural productivity, and foster economic growth. His leadership style and decisions have placed Burkina Faso on a path of rapid development and autonomy, earning him recognition as a leading African leader.

As the world’s youngest president, aged 36, Traore is known for leading Burkina Faso towards self-sufficiency and rapid development. His vision for a self-sufficient Burkina Faso is slowly taking shape.
