CAF Confederation Cup: Enyimba Holds Defending Champions Zamalek
Nigerian club Enyimba played out a thrilling 2-2 against defending champions Zamalek of Egypt on Match Day 2 of one of Africa’s most prestigious club competitions, the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday.
Zamalek were away to former African champions, Enyimba in a Group D match played in Uyo that ended 2-2 after a nail-biting affair between two African football giants.

The reigning champions will be disappointed with the draw after they let a two-goal cushion slip.
Goals by Seifeddine Jaziri and Omar Faraj in the first half were cancelled out by Ufere Chukwu and Ifeanyi Ihemekwele strikes for the spoils to be shared.
The result sees Zamalek remain top of the group with four points, while Enyimba go up to third with their first point of the group stages.
The chase for the prestigious CAF Confederation Cup title currently held by Egyptian giants Zamalek SC is heating up, with clubs working towards advancing from the gruelling group phase of home and away fixtures.
