Ahead of the President election of Africa soccer governing body (CAF) President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Melvin Pinnick has urged voters to think about the future of Africa Football when they want to cast their votes,

Pinnick initially showed interest in becoming the president of the body before  shedding the ambition and preferred vying for the position of FIFA Council seat.

Apart from eyeing the FIFA Council, he decided to throw his weight behind the South Africa candidate, Patrice Motsepe to head Africa football.

While speaking with BBC, Pinnick also took his time x-ray the candidates eyeing the position.

“They should think Africa, if they think Africa, you will think about the future of Africa football.

“What do I mean by that, when somebody manned responsibilities, what change can he bring? Let us look at his pedigree what has he done? Augustin Sengor is my brother and friend, he has done well for Senegalese football but he can do better, we are waiting for them to win African Cup Of Nations. Ivorian Jacques Anouma is an excellent man and I’ve always respected him. Ahmed Yahia is also an excellent guy and one for the future, somebody that I love and he knows.

“Patrice Motsepe is my choice and candidate and the reason is, I believe he can change things. I’m a businessman, I know what he can do for football, when you are a businessman you don’t look the way ordinary man will look, you will map out strategy,” he said.

The election is slated March 12, 2021.
