Canadian singer Justin Bieber suffers face paralysis following rare disorder
Popular singer, Justin Bieber is battling a rare disorder which he reveals on instagram has made his face paralyzed.
Posting a video, the talented musician revealed that he was suffering from this rare syndrome called Ramsay Hunt syndrome on Friday, June 10, 2022.

In his video, he urges fans to pray for him as he explained the disorder.
“I wanted to update you guys on what’s been going on. Obviously, as you can probably see from my face, I have, a, this syndrome called Ramsay Hunt syndrome and it is from this virus that attacks the nerve in my ear and my facial nerves and has caused my face to have paralysis,” he said.
Ramsay Hunt syndrome is a painful rash around the ear, on the face, or the mouth that occurs when the varicella-zoster virus infects a nerve in the head.
Bieber is widely recognised for his genre-melding musicianship and has played an influential role in modern-day popular music. He also featured on the song ‘Essence’ with Nigerian afrobeats stars, WizKid and Tems on Wizkid’s 2021 ‘Made in Lagos’ album.
