Capital Projects: Ebonyi State approves over N2 billion

The Ebonyi State Government has approved two billion, three hundred and fifty-seven million, one hundred and two thousand, three hundred and eighty-six naira for the execution of some capital projects in the State.

The State Commissioner for Information and State Orientation, Orji Uchenna stated this while briefing Journalists on the outcome of State Executive Council meeting in Abakaliki, the state’s capital.

He said the approval became necessary considering the importance of the projects to Ebonyi people.

 “The following are some of the projects that the approved money would be used for: construction of 3 kilometres Akodoro bridge in Ezza North Local Government Area of the State; the construction of dual carriageway of Ebonyi/Enugu  expressway lot 3, continuing from Nkalegu junction to Ebonyi/Enugu boundary”

 “Others are Atamebi Owa bridge in Ohazara Local Government Area; construction of three septic tanks at Ebonyi International Airport;  Akpara bridge along Abakaliki/Afikpo expressway; single mini bridge at Nkalegu junction, another single mini bridge at Nkalegu near Ebonyi/Enugu boundary, he added.

The Commissioner called on all Ebonyi people to put hands together in the development of the State.

He thanked Journalists for partnering with the state in information dissemination to the public
