Catholic Organization Farmers Receive farm inputs

The  Catholic Humanitarian Organisation has flagged its 2025 Agricultural Input distribution to vulnerable in Lagos state.

The Programme held at Ikorodu North Local Council Development Authority , Isiu featured ,  distributions of lives stock input  , herbicides , pesticides , improved maize seedlings , sprayer  machine , improved casava stern to 500 farming households trained by CARITAS Nigeria, a non- governmental organisation.

Speaking during the Programme , the Executive Secretary of CARITAS, Nigeria, Reverend Father Peter Audu speaks on the importance of Agriculture to the society.

Also , Reverend Audu charged the trainees and beneficiaries  to make effective  use of the inputs in order to improve their livelihood and be self reliance .

Represented by the Archbishop of Catholic Nigeria ,  Priest in charge of the Isiu Local Area , Reverend  Emmanuel Anyawu charged the trainees to make use of the tools received

His Royal Highness , Kabiesie of Isiu Local government area , Oba Davide Rajiurged the  beneficiaries not to sell the farm tools given to them but to make use of it for the  betterment of the society.

This event aims to promote self-sufficiency, food security, and economic growth among others . beneficials.

Caritas Nigeria, officially the Catholic Caritas Foundation of Nigeria (CCFN), is the specialized development and humanitarian agency of the Catholic Church in Nigeria, established in 2010 by the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) to coordinate development programs and interventions.
