Nigeria’s Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele on Thursday paid a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari.
Emefiele, who seemingly had been on leave, was at the seat of power for the 1st time this year.
The Central Bank Governor, who got to the Presidential Villa at about 14: 30 GMT, had a closed door meeting for about 25 minutes with the President.
When approached by anxious State House Correspondents, the apex bank’s Governor declined comments.
Emefiele has been in the news of late for not appearing before the National Assembly and reports of his planned arrest, which security agencies later denied.
