Census: NPC inaugurates E-recruitment portal for field workers in Anambra state

The National Population Commission, (NPC), has launched the online E-recruitment portal for the 2023 Population and Housing Census in Anambra state.
The Federal Commissioner, Mr Chidi Ezeoke also disclosed that the Commission will employ about thirty thousand field functionaries for the 2023 Population and Housing Census in the state.
Mr Ezeoke who was speaking at the Commission’s headquarters in Awka, the state capital also informed that the Commission, through the online recruitment process requests for applicants from field staff, facilitators, training centre administrators, monitoring and evaluations officers, data quality managers, data quality assistants, supervisors and enumerators for the forthcoming census.
Pointing out that organization of the census process remains key to the success of the 2023 Population and Housing Census, the state NPC Commissioner promised that the commission is on course and will continue to be fair and transparent in its activities concerning next year’s census.
Disclosing that the 2023 census exercise which will take place in April, does not require people to return to their various hometown to be counted, Mr Ezeoke emphasised on the need for all the state residents and the entire southeast zone to make themselves available during the census exercise.
Contributing, the state Director, National Population Commission, Dr Joachim Ulasi asked interested persons to register using the NPC e-recruitment portal, http://2023censusadhocrecruitment.nationalpopulation.gov.ng.
Ulasi said the e-recruitment portal which was opened since 27th October this year will be temporary closed on the 7th-13th November and will be permanently closed on 10th December, 2022.
Dr Ulasi said applicants must have at least O’level certificate to be eligible to register for the twenty-seven days exercise.
