Chadian President, Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno and Guinea-Bissau’s President, Umaro Sissoco Embalo held talks to discuss bilateral relations, according to a statement from the Chadian presidency.
During a two-hour discussion at Chad’s presidency, the two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation and intend to maintain ongoing consultation on all issues of common interest.
“Chad and Guinea-Bissau remain committed to working towards a fairer and more equitable world,” the statement read.
Embalo arrived in Chad for a working visit. He left the Central African country immediately after the talks.
