Leeds celebrate 3-1 victory against Chelsea.

Chelsea’s Premier League title hopes took a hit as they suffered a 3-1 defeat to Leeds United at Elland Road in Leeds, England.

Leeds dominated the game, with Jaka Bijol scoring the opener in the sixth minute, followed by Ao Tanaka’s stunning strike just before halftime.

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca made five changes from the side that drew with Arsenal on Sunday, which may have been detrimental.

However, Chelsea pulled one back through Pedro Neto early in the second half as they looked to get back into the contest.

However, Leeds continued to push forward after conceding and were rewarded.

The home side sealed the win with Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s goal in the 72nd minute to silence the Chelsea fans, sending them into fourth place on the Premier League table.

Leeds’ first win in five games, lifted the hosts out of the relegation zone and dealt a blow to Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Leeds manager Daniel Farke praised his team’s performance, saying they were “desperate to bring this club back to the top level”

Chelsea now sit fourth in the standings, three points behind third-placed Aston Villa and nine points off leaders Arsenal. Leeds move up to 17th on 14 points.
