The Nigerian Media has been identified as uncrowned king, valued for the promotion of partnership and cooperation between Nigeria and China.
The Director Cultural Counselor of China, Mr. Li Xuda made this known at a media pally with journalist in Abuja.
He appreciated the Nigerian Media for promoting bilateral relations and mutual friendships between the People’s Republic of China and Nigeria that has existed fifty years ago.
“Under your efforts, China and Nigeria support each other, help each other, learn from each other and great achievements have been made in all fields such as commercial, cultural, social, educational etc.”
Mr. Li said, “for us, opportunities and challenges coexist. Let’s stand shoulder to shoulder, meet the challenges and seize the opportunities, pick up our pens and write new chapters for our next fifty years.”
A journalist from the People’s Daily of China Mr. Jiang Xuam said journalist have burden to debunk lies by writing fairly and professionally.
He called on journalists from the two countries to work together for the more mutual friendships.
The Chief editor of Diplomats extra Magazine, Mr. Rafeal Oni gave assurance that the Nigerian Media will continue to do more in strengthening bilateral relations between Nigeria and the people’s Republic of China.
