Christian Intending Pilgrims In Niger State Embarks On Sensitization

The Coordinator of the Christian pilgrimage in Niger State, North Central Nigeria; has planned to embark on a sensitization for the intending Christians Pilgrimage across the State.
The Executive Secretary of the Niger State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Umar Lapai, in a statement by the spokesperson of the Board Hassan Idris urged the officials of the Christian pilgrims on the need to reach out to intending Pilgrims on the preparations of the board regarding the exercise to the Holy land.
Makun Lapai who urged the officials on warning the intending pilgrims against unlawful cash transactions in preparations for the pilgrimage, congratulated them on the resumption of the exercise after 2 years of break due to covid-19 pandemic.
The state Director, the Department of Christian Pilgrimage, Mrs. Joan Pada, who appreciated the Board for the early preparation, urged every desk officer to ensure that intending Pilgrims to Israel from their respective local government area did not abscond, while at the Holy land.
“The board will soon embark on sensitization visits to various local government areas, to meet with council chairmen, Christian Association of Nigeria CAN, and other faithfuls, from Monday 21st of November, 2022”. Mrs. Pada said.
She however observed that the security challenges in some parts of the State may definitely affect the number of intending Christian pilgrims in the State; as interested farmers from the rural communities have been denied access to harvest their produce.
