The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the people of Anambra and all Nigerians as they celebrate Christmas 2024.
This was contained in a festive goodwill message released by the Press Secretary to the Governor, Christian Aburime.
“The Governor urged Ndi Anambra and all Nigerians to demonstrate selfless love to one another and also keep hope alive in the face of challenges this season.”
He expressed his condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in the recent stampede in Okija and offered them strength to endure their sorrow.
“Furthermore, the Governor assured Ndi Anambra returning home this season of adequate security, as the administration has put in place comprehensive security measures to ensure they celebrate peacefully with their loved ones.
“The road networks across the State, along with improved traffic control, have also been significantly enhanced to facilitate smooth movement and travel during this festive period and beyond.”
